The Jamroom Power Pack is a set of additional “add-on” scripts for Jamroom, that increase the number of features that are available for you to use in your Jamroom. This includes:

1. WMV Video Support - let your Jamroom Artists upload their latest video clips!
2. Full Video charting - chart the videos in your Jamroom over days, weeks, months, etc. All the Features of the Jamroom Advanced Charts (for audio), except for video!
3. Jamroom Comments script - all visitors to your Jamroom to add comments to the different “items” in your Jamroom - videos, songs, photos, calendar entries, etc.
4. Jamroom Photo Galleries - let your Artists upload their favorite photos into their own organized “gallery” of photos.
5. Artist Page Guestbooks - let visitors to your Artist Pages leave their entry in artist guestbooks!
6. Download Protect - optionally password protect downloads from your Jamroom!
7. Artist Page Lock - create user lists of users that can access “hidden” and password protected Artist Pages. The perfect solution for an online album release party!
8. Exclusing Admins Skins - includes the “DarkRed” and “Simple Grey” Admin skins, which make great additions to your Admin Skin collection.
9. Exclusing Artist Themes - the Jamroom Power Pack includes the “BlackHole”, “Umber Alert” and “Umber Alert with Flash Player” Artist Themes.

With the Jamroom Power Pack, you now have the ability to add full motion video support (WMV format) to your Jamroom! This allows your artists to upload their latest concert footage, music videos, instructional videos or collaboration shots - all with the ease of using the Jamroom interface. If your artists can add a song, they can add a video.

With the Jamroom Power Pack you also get access to the “videochart.php” script - this script does for video what the “newchart.php” script (part of the Jamroom Bonus Pack) does for audio. Track the “movement” of videos up and down charts - charted by genre, number of streams, downloads or streams + downloads! You can also “pull” specific videos and artist’s entries directly from the charts to place on the Artist Pages. This powerful script really helps create a dynamic Jamroom.

One way to increase the “stickiness” of your web site is to get your community involved - give them a “piece” of the action and they’ll want to return to see the response! The Jamroom Comment script allows you to have “comments” associated with almost everything in your Jamroom:

Currently in Jamroom it is possible for Artist’s to add their photos to their website, but if they want to add additional photos their pretty much left to adding them into “blog” entries using BBCode [img] tags. Now, with the Jamroom Photo Gallery, each artists gets an online “gallery” in the Artist Page. This allows them to upload as many photos as they want (or their Jamroom Quota allows), all the while categorizing them and being able to display them in any way the Artist Theme will let them. With the ability to add visitor comments to the photos, this is a great way to expand Jamroom into the field of visual artists.

Often when a visitor comes to an Artist Site, they want to be able to leave behind their “calling card” so to speak - musicians practically invented the idea of “networking”, and social networking between up and coming musicians is huge. The Jamroom Artist Guestbooks is a great way for your Artists to add a “guestbook” to their artist page, so other artists and visitors can let them know they stopped by.

If you have ever wanted to control the access to downloading (not streaming) from your Jamroom, the Download Protect script (downlock.php) can help you out, by making it so downloads requested from your Jamroom are password protected. The script provides a convenient interface to adding and removing usernames and passwords of those users that are allowed to download from your Jamroom.

The Artist Page Lock allows you to “lock” specific Artist Pages in your Jamroom - that is, grant access to the Artist Page only to those visitors that know the username and password to get in. This is the perfect way to hold an on-line album release party (i.e. keep the site away from prying eyes until the release date) as well as for “invite only” special events.

The Jamroom Power Pack also includes 2 new Admin Skins:

1. “DarkRed” - a red and dark grey based look - very well done for a site that might specialize in Hard rock, punk, etc.
2. “Simple Grey” - a clean, grey Admin Skin with a bit of a “reserved” feel.

Both of these Admin Skins make great additions to the stock Jamroom and Bonus Pack skins.
