These variables can be used in any template that is parsed and output by the newsearch.php script. These variables are commonly used in the header/footer templates.

Variable Description
{$JAMROOM_DIR} the full path to the jamroom directory
{$JAMROOM_URL} the URL to the jamroom directory
{$NEXT_PAGE_NUM} Number of the next page in Set
{$PREV_PAGE_NUM} Number of the previous page in Set
{$NEXT_PAGE_URL} contains the href part only of the URL (for use in creating your own Next Page/Previous Page links)
{$PREV_PAGE_URL} contains the href part only of the URL (for use in creating your own Next Page/Previous Page links)
{$THIS_PAGE} Number of current page in Set
{$PAGEBREAK} Number of values shown on each page
{$SEARCH_STRING} The value enter as the search_string for the retrieve mode
{$NUMBER_RESULTS} The number of results returned in the search set.
{$REMOTE_ADDR} The viewing visitor’s IP Address
{$EPOCH_TIME} The current time, in number of seconds since the beginning of the UNIX Epoch (12:00 am, January 1st, 1970)
