Installing a Jamroom Module
If you have downloaded a module from the Jamroom Marketplace, this guide will show you how to install it.
- First, download or purchase the Jamroom module from the Jamroom Marketplace.
- Once you have the Jamroom Module ZIP file on your computer, unzip it to a temporary location on your computer.
- Within the ZIP file you downloaded, you will see a few files and a "modules" directory (in some modules there may only be a modules directory).
- Using your FTP client, upload the "modules" directory directly into your Jamroom directory. Any folders inside the local "modules" directory will end up inside the "modules" directory in your Jamroom install.
- Next, log into your Jamroom as the Master Admin
- Click on "System Modules"
- Scroll down to the bottom and in the "Available Modules" section you will see the new module you just uploaded - click the "Enable" button to the right of the module listing.
That's it - the module is now installed. If the module offers any configuration options, you will see a "settings" button to the right of the module in the "Installed Modules" list.
