I would like to just use the credit system for the battle module if possible ... no cash involved ... start users with say 100 credits and reward them when they win battles and make votes with credits ... maybe deduct them when a battle is lost that they are in .... could care less for using it to purchase items .... is there a variable to display a users credits? like {$BAND_CREDITS} or something

The module can use credits for entry as well as pay out credits. I'd recommend downloading and checking the module out.

Thanks!

      It's in the Control Panel menu for all Jamroom.net skins - if you are not using a Jamroom provided skin you'll want to contact your skin developer and have them add the user's credit balance into the CP templates.

      Hope this helps!

      I manually added credits to a users account the only option i see is Buy Credits / Browse Credit Options / Then you can purchase credits ... Nothing to show the Balance of how many credits you have?

      This is from the Nova/cp/header.tpl file...

      Code
      {if $user_credit_active == 'yes'}
                        {if $user_credit_display == 'yes'}
                        <br><img src="skins/Nova/cp/images/small_credit.png" width="16" height="16" alt="{$_LANGUAGE.credit.18}" class="n_outline">&nbsp;<a href="payment.php?mode=credit_view">{$_LANGUAGE.credit.19}: {$_USER.user_credit|default:0|jr_credit_display:"credits":false|number_format}</a>
                        {else}
                        <br><img src="skins/Nova/cp/images/small_credit.png" width="16" height="16" alt="{$_LANGUAGE.credit.18}" class="n_outline">&nbsp;<a href="payment.php?mode=credit_view">{$_LANGUAGE.credit.18}: {$VAULT_CURRENCY_SYMBOL}{$_USER.user_credit|default:"0.00"|number_format:2}</a>
                        {/if}
                      {/if}

      Hope this helps,

      Thanks for the code ... but it still shows 0.00 ... have no clue why when i manually added 500 credits to the account , dose it only display how many credits you have actually paid for?

      Are you logged in as the admin or the user with the credits? I think you have to be logged in as the user to see the credits.

      Hope this helps,

      Yes sir that was the problem ... kinda hard to see who has credits and who dont though because of that .... this option here (in payment settings) Successful Sign Up ($)___________ ? does this apply to users that have already signed up? Im trying to start every one with a certain amount of credits ... and then if they run out they can buy them, And thanks would of never figured that out Wink

      I'm sure you can put together a link that will show you all the users with their credits info...

      Jamroom is built that way.

      Be careful with that. Keep in mind that the credits that you give out will actually be deducted from your paypal account once your members use them.
