Most use tunecore ( http://www.tunecore.com/)

And I think CB Baby still adds stuff to itunes / amazon.

For some (especially me!) a big pain in the backside! It gets some complictaed as any one track can only be in the itunes catalog (as an example) once. So if one of your artists has it in already via well... whomever besides you, you can offer and add the same track (because someone else already did it)

Thats the short story.

Walmart is a different duck, they bought liquid digital media a few years back (a monster label catalog) I don't know if they add outside stuff or not Wink

But.... it can be done for sure given the limitations.

..Bill

So basically its not somthing to offer my artist on our site? So are you saying that I would have to add the artist track myself to tunecore for them when actually they can do it there self right? Who would collect the money to pay the artist for the sell they make in tunecore if I add the track . By the way check out registermymusic.com they will act as a third party promoter and you can offer any of there packages to your artist and recharge them ever how much, without them ever knowing you are using RMM read more. on there site.
