JR4 Battle Page CALL ID
Hi guys!

From what I understand each battle page has it's own battle ID# I would like to know how to open a battle page by calling the BATTLE ID.

For example:
Code
{$BAND_GENRE}
calls the Artist's genre.

I reviewed the ranking page link below but didn't find anything about BATTLES

http://www.jamroom.net/Jamroom4_Ranking_System

Thank you!

I can read that now Very Happy

Can't help though as I don't have the battle module (it is a separate module which is why it isn't covered by the core ranking docs).

Hopefully someone else can help. Have you tried {$BATTLE_ID}? You could also try {debug output="html"} in your template to see what is available.

you could make a page template .tpl file and pass in the id of the batte from there, then use that to call a listing of it.

eg: /skins/yourskin/single_battle.tpl
call at: site.com/index.php/?t=single_battle?show_battle=15

Code

//top page layout

{jr_ranking_row mode="battle" battle_id=$show_battle ........
//bottom page layout

So the id from the URL comes in and fetches the wanted page.

I would have thought there was a way to do it already. What about when you change the skin to a non-nova skin and turn on the battle module. Something like 'Sage' would need to use a static URL for battles, it doesnt use much javascript.

See how it does it. copy.
