I'm looking for feedback from users that have migrated from JR4 to JR5 AND running the OneAll social login module.

My question is, if user existed in JR4, and then migrated to JR5 site. Does the OneAll social login accurately log the user into their profile or does it attempt to create a new profile for the user?

I had severe issues getting the Facebook Connect module to work on my JR4 site so I ditched it entirely. I'm hoping the OneAll module on JR5 works like a charm.

JR devs feel free to respond too.

Thanks for your help.

OneAll is completely new - your users that have created accounts in JR4 will need to relink to FB/twitter etc. in JR5 (since the connection actually goes through OneAll). If they use an email address that already exists in your JR5 they will be linked up. What's nice about using OneAll is that if at a later time they decide to use Twitter instead (or another network) they will still be linked up to the same account since OneAll maintains the many-to-one relationship for you.

Hope this helps!

- Brian

I understand users will have to re-auth.

So, just making sure I understand:

- User123 exists in JR4 User123@example.com
- Migrated to new JR5 site.
- User exists in JR5 now as User123, User123@example.com
- User123 authenticates using OneAll > Facebook.
- User123 uses email User123@example.com in Facebook.
- OneAll sees the email User123@example.com in JR5.
- User 123 is now logged into JR5 site.
