When using an iPad or iPod JR5 doesn't play audio or video tracks.

Thanks for that!

I also tried the Jamroom network site with iPad & iPod and the uploaded audio/video doesn't play from there either.

Just tried an iPhone and audio/video plays fine. It just seems to have a problem with iPad and iPod

Does anyone have any idea of how I can correct this?

Mick

Don't know if this will help but JR 5 uses the player from http://www.jplayer.org

Maby test your device on their page and see if it even plays. theres a song at their page landing you can use to test.

Hope that helps you out

Nice one b360! I can play the audio from the jplayer.org site just fine. If only it worked as easy as that from my site...

I haven't got an iPhone, or other fancy phone so can't help out here much sorry. Sad

Suspect it will end up being the format of the song that is trying to be played. eg mp3,fla,ogg,etc...

From what I understand some devices play some formats, others, others, but no one format works on every device.

So I suspect the answer will be the original file needs to be transcoded into another format with the right priority to fit the device.

What version of iOS are you running? iPad/iPod/iPhone device should not matter - just version of iOS.

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

I'm using iOS 6.1.3 on the iPad and iOS 5.1.1 on the iPod.
