I am not sure whats going on, but this is the only thing I get after installing Jamroom.

I have the most current version of Jamroom 4
I have:

PHP Version 4.4.9
5.0.51a

My Site is Chico247.com

I am also having the same problem on ArtistIntro.com, but they are on different hosting plans.

Thank you.
Garrett

Make sure you've uploaded all the files and have them in the correct folders on your server.

Have you checked your log folder for errors?

Hope this helps,
Douglas

There is nothing in my log folder.

I uploaded everything just as it came in the zip file.

The first time I tried to install I uploaded all the bonus, payment packs at the same time, the second time I just uploaded the jamroom. I got the same issue.

Nothing irregular happens during the install, that I know of.

I dont have access to the server error folders from my host, and cant logon to check php errors in the control panel.

You have to follow the not linked link to see on this one. Template output breaks at the menu. Right after install?

It is breaking at the first ranking call, this in Nova jr_index.tpl:

Code
{jr_ranking mode='artist' show='5' order='11' band_id=$smarty.config.featured_band_ids row_template='jr_header_featured.tpl' require_image=$smarty.config.require_images}

Since you are on JBservers, and its a brand new install, it can only be that your upload is failing somehow. The ranking files are in the include directory, so you might want to compare the files on the server against your local directory.

If it's your ftp program that is failing you could try uploading using the file manager in your server's cpanel.

It appears that you are right. I guess my business partner didnt approve of the hosting. I will be contacting you and getting both artistintro.com and chico247.com back on your servers!

Thanks everyone, the reason it didnt work is because my hosting service is crappy and wont support all the requirements to run jamroom 4. So i am stuck with Jamroom 3 (which isnt bad at all) for the next few weeks.

I appreciate your help.

Glad you got it sorted.

Inadequate hosting is one of the more common idiot traps* in Jamroom (and other cms for that matter). It's incredible how often it happens.

*Probably more diplomatic to call it a common pitfall when talking to your business partner. Wink
