help i messed up database and cant get in

sorry i edited my database ... then site went down ... i uploaded settings.php but still cant get in ... it says verify database connectivity ...

i went into my server and hit "repair database" ... reuploaded settings.php and still error

when i load settings.php it says database verified ... i click continue ... and next screen it says "error verify connectivity"

any help ?

It sounds like your database is still in need of repair, or your settings are incorrect.

Check your error logs.

Maybe try checking/repairing using phpmyadmin, but my guess is that you will need to contact your host and get them to look to find the cause. Maybe ask them to restore the last backup of your database before you changed.
