bigguy:
I've tested this here this morning and don't see any issues - the Nova.cfg file I've updated gets synced no problem to the cluster. Was this ever working for you previously?

Thanks!

- Brian

Yes it worked but stopped about a month ago or so. It was not long after the update for the latest version.

I can't replicate it here, so unfortunately I can't tell you why it is happening, but there have been no changes to the cluster sync portion of the cluster code for quite some time (the last changes at all in the cluster_admin.php script were in version 4.1.9). So something has changed on your server either permission wise, or file wise that is causing it to no longer sync. Try creating a new file in your skin directory called 'test.cfg' and see if it syncs over.

Hope this helps!

I created and sync'd and the file remained empty. Ideas?

I asked DJ to look and he saw the below in the error log. I have seen this for some time but everything worked so I ignored it. Not sure of this has any bearing on the issue.

DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loo" : 42282 calculated, 0 expected in /home/path/public_html/include/pear/PEAR.php on line 896

This isn't an error for your config file, but if you are seeing the same type of error, what this means is that when the file is copied over to the cluster, it is "bad" - i.e. the md5 checksum for the file is different than what the master is reporting, which indicates it was corrupted in transfer.

I'm having a problem with the cluster server, when I transfer a profile to the cluster I get a 404 error. I've updated from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 although that isn't the problem, I tried that to see if it would be a solution. I created a new profile posting it to the cluster and still get a 404.

It gets transferred from the main server properly as you can see. Cool

Is the .htaccess file setup properly on your cluster?

Kyle who are you referring to? The above post really needs its own topic so we do not confuse them.
