Email NOT sent with New Registration

After signup, the system advises that an email was sent, but is NOT.


Message:

That's possibly a SendMail server issue or maybe Jamroom related, the registration form "jr_signup.tpl" doesn't contain anything in respect of sending email notifications, that's down to Jamroom and your server.

Please contact Jamroom support for assistance.

PLEASE ADVISE.

If the Jamroom advises that an email was sent, then it has been sent from Jamroom.
Search in the faq for "email" for possible reasons why it hasn't been received.

If Jamroom says it sent the email, then it means Jamroom successfully handed the email off to your SMTP server - after that, it is out of Jamroom's control:

Where in Jamroom does it indicate that an email was sent upon registration?

I just signed up a new Test user and confirmed that an email is not being sent to the user.

An email IS being sent to the admin indicating a new user has signed up.

As a user where/when do I get my confirmation?

Is your Quota setup for "admin validation" or "instant validation"? If so, you will not get an email. Otherwise, if your admin is getting the email, then the other is being sent for sure (since it happens in the same process) - check your spam folder.
